What’s the difference between an estimate and a detailed quote?
Our estimates are based on our experience with previous work, we internally discuss the scope of the job, types of materials, site access, complexity of features and extras, and give you a fast idea of pricing.
We produce a detailed quote after we have narrowed down the design to exactly what you are after within your budget.
How do you price your Quotes?
Once we have drawn and rendered a design that you are happy to proceed with. We use our design software to generate a exact report on material quantities.
We then input these quantities into our custom spreadsheet that has a complete database of all material pricing.
This process gives complete accuracy of cost, ensuring you get a fair price and we can relax and spend time crafting your project with care.
What deposit or payment terms do you require?
10% deposit based on our estimate. (10% deposit becomes part of the 30% quote acception).
30% quote acception.
40% completion of manifaction.
30% installation and completion of the project.
How long will the whole process take (design, manufacturing, installation)?
Many factors are at play with regards to the timeline of the project, we run a tight schedule and are typically booked in advance.
Our goal is to complete the drawings and plans with your approval quickly, this help us order and receive materials in a timely manner to fit our schedule.
When we receive materials we manufacture the project in our factory then organize a time for delivery and installation.
Timing with other trades is also important, we will communicate our plans with you and other trades to make sure the day of install goes smoothly.
While some factors are out of our control we keep the ball rolling on our end as quickly as possible to meet the timeframe.
Can you match existing cabinetry or finishes in my home?
We can match many colours, wood grains, handles, hardware and stone.
It is best if you have the specifications of the previous materials used to perfect match products. Some products do get deleted from stock, the chance of this typically increasing with age.
If this occurs we are likely to find a close substitute.
Do you handle removal of old cabinets?
Unfortunately not, professional removalists or builders are our recommendation to complete this.
Should the painting and flooring be done before or after?
We recommend finishing the walls and floor prior to installation.
What size projects to you do?
We do a range of scoped work starting at projects that take a day to assemble plus a day to install, to substantial, complete house fit outs.
What cabinetry work don’t you do?
Door and panel repair.
Fixing/editing existing cabinetry.
Hardware replacement/additions.
Low grade material/hardware cabinetry.
What can I provide?
Appliances, we encourage you to provide appliances and consider them early. If you haven’t purchase appliances yet it is good to check with us what regulations each appliance requires and if they will work with the concept of the project.
Handles can also be supplied by us or you. We may be able to get a trade discount that we can pass onto you and recommend checking with us first.
Splash backs we offer a small range of splash backs, your may want to explore a tiled splash back which we welcome.
Benchtops, while we provide a wide range of tops we can install and work with some great benchtop manufacturers and installers that we can organise. If you want to organise your own benchtops we welcome this also.
