I am a keen kiwi tradesman who moved to Perth in June of 2024 to continue improving my skills and leadership in cabinetmaking. I grew up in a small popular holiday area called the Coromandel/Mercury bay area (very similar to the Margaret river region), 3 hours drive from Auckland surrounded by the ocean beaches and bush with large investment in waterways developments and multimillion dollar retirement and holiday homes, this created good opportunity for me to work on mid to very high end properties. The calm relaxed environment of home has become a part of my positive easy going identity and personality. I have many interests and hobbies. I played rugby and basketball at school, I also was involved in surf life saving and search and rescue. Today I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking and skateboarding. I also have a big passion for music. I did some DJ-Ing for a while and I love concerts and festivals and all the good stuff. I grew up on a small sheep farm(classic kiwi) with my Mum and my Grandma. My Grandma was a native wood carver and passed on her skills and interest in wood working to me from a young age. I enjoy creating and building projects and find satisfaction and pride in them. I have challenged myself over the next few years to grow into more of a leader within the industry and learn the skills, knowledge and wisdom it takes to start my own business. When I arrived to Perth I had the privilege of working for one of the top luxury cabinet making companies in Perth, this is where I met Dylan, together we constructed cabinetry and installed on multi million dollar builds in Perth central, Cottesloe, Fremantle, Applecross, Dunsborough, Margret river and many more. We hope together to be leaders of the next generation in construction and apply new ideas to push cabinet making into the future, by improving efficiency, quality and using new technology.
What I bring to the table:
A can do attitude
Level headed methodical approach
Ideas that think outside the box
A desire and ideas to consistently improve efficiency and quality of our work
Positive attitude to all situations
Resourceful
Humor
Satisfaction and pride in the process, work and product

I grew up in the small Wheatbelt town of Kulin, where my passion for hands-on creativity began early through woodworking classes. After graduating from Kulin High School, I continued my studies at Narrogin Agricultural College, earning several qualifications, including a Certificate I in Furniture Making.
Eager to pursue my craft, I moved to Margaret River and joined Boranup Gallery as a furniture maker. There, I hand-crafted solid timber tables, desks, sideboards, wine racks, and grandfather clocks—pieces that found homes with buyers around the world. I completed my apprenticeship at Boranup and was later promoted to lead furniture maker.
After obtaining my Certificate III in Cabinet Making through Bunbury Regional TAFE, I founded Coastwood Australia. What started with bespoke pieces for friends and family soon grew into a thriving business, creating custom furniture for local markets and beyond. Moving to Perth allowed me to expand further, specializing in high-end cabinetry for homes throughout Perth and the South West.
With over three years of experience delivering premium cabinetry for multimillion-dollar homes, I partnered with Tommy, who shares my commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. Together, we bring clients a seamless, high-quality experience in creating cabinetry that elevates their dream homes.
At the heart of everything I do are values of precision, integrity, and care. I take immense pride in my attention to detail, open communication, and dedication to ensuring every project reflects the unique vision and lifestyle of each client.
What I bring to the table:
A commitment to precision and excellence in every piece
Honest, transparent communication and trustworthy service
Treating every project as a reflection of personal and professional pride
Continuous improvement, always learning, refining skills and adopting the best practices
